Built for developers building real trading systems.
Market data without operating your own terminal
Live bid and ask for 60 forex pairs and 11 metals, including gold, over a plain REST API, a Python client or MCP for AI tools.
Historical candles for strategies and research
OHLC candles from one minute to daily, paginated for long ranges, for analysis and backtesting.
Know when your data needs attention
Every quote says whether it's fresh, market closed or stale and how old it is. Forming candles are flagged, and gaps are reported, never filled.
Show, don't tell.
The official Python client, pip install tickfeed. Check that gold's price is live before acting on it,
then pull a month of complete hourly candles and look for unexplained gaps.

We're looking for developers who are actively building trading bots, backtesting tools and other market-data applications.
Application received.
Thanks for your interest in the TickFeed Founding Developer Programme. We'll review your application and contact you by email if you've been selected.
Questions.
Who can apply?
Independent developers and small teams who are actively building a trading bot, a backtesting or research tool, a market scanner or another application that uses market data. There are 10 places.
Is the $50 credit really free?
Yes. It is promotional API credit: no card and no subscription. It covers ordinary TickFeed requests at the normal prices ($0.002 per price quote, $0.002 per 100 candles). It has no cash value and can't be withdrawn or refunded. The $50 is the total and includes the standard welcome credit; it is not added on top of it.
Do I need an existing TickFeed account?
No. Apply with the email address you want to use. If you're accepted, create an account (or sign in) with that address and confirm it, and the credit is added automatically.
Can I use TickFeed to execute trades?
No. TickFeed provides market data only: live prices, historical candles and data-quality information. Your bot places orders through your own broker. TickFeed does not execute trades or give investment advice.
What happens after I use my credit?
You can keep going on pay-as-you-go pricing: add funds to your prepaid balance whenever you like. There's no subscription, and when your balance can't cover a request it is declined, never charged.
How are applicants selected?
Every application is reviewed individually, not first come, first served. We look for genuine projects that will make real use of the data. We may email you to ask a question about your project.
