returned labelled market_closed, never presented as live.

Which forex pairs are available?
60 pairs: the seven majors, 21 crosses such as EURGBP, EURJPY and GBPJPY, and exotics including USDMXN, USDZAR, USDTRY, USDSGD, USDHKD, USDCNH, USDPLN and the Scandinavian currencies. The full list is on this page and the free /v1/symbols endpoint always returns what is available.
Is there a real-time EURUSD API?
Yes. TickFeed's /v1/price/EURUSD returns the latest euro/dollar bid and ask with a millisecond timestamp, spread in price and points, and a freshness label. Every other pair works the same way, e.g. /v1/price/USDJPY.
How much does the forex API cost?
Pay as you go: $0.002 per price request and $0.002 per 100 candles returned, from a prepaid balance. No subscription or tiers.
What timeframes are supported for forex candles?
M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4 and D1. Timestamps are UTC and the candle time is the bar open time.
When is the forex market open?
Forex trades from Sunday 17:00 to Friday 17:00 New York time. Prices are quiet around the 17:00 daily rollover.
Do exotic pairs update as often as the majors?
No. Pairs such as USDTRY or NOKSEK can go several minutes without a new quote while their market is open. Their freshness threshold (stale_after_seconds in each response) is longer, so a quiet market is not reported as a fault.
